CEO Greg Musgrave began his career in logging as a teenager. As an inspired entrepreneurial type, he founded Family Tree Service during the late 1980’s. Over time, Greg’s aspirations to be a leader and business professional in the tree care industry created the foundation for the company’s success. Greg holds a California State Contractor License 640013 and Licensed Timber Operator Certificate A11612.
Chief Financial Officer and Accounting Manager, Ray Perez, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, and Business Administration. Ray joined the Family Tree Team in February 2019. His accounting & finance experience includes non-profit and tribal industries which lends to a strong business acumen and conservative approach to financial matters to help keep the team moving forward successfully.
Vice President of Business Operations, Mylinda Shaul, spent 20 years in health care management before joining the Family Tree team in 2017 to support Human Resources and Payroll activities. Mylinda holds certificates in HR Management, OSHA 30, Active Shooter Events, ADA compliance and employee management, Certified Payroll, and was instrumental in the stable growth of FTS from 60 employees to 170+ during the company’s highest employee count. She began working in Operations in 2020 and was promoted to VP Business Operations in 2022.
Nathan Sanderson, President, just celebrated 20 years with Family Tree Service! Nathan has been instrumental in developing team workmanship and helping crews improve their technical skills to support ANSI A300 and Z133 standards through on the job training and leading by example. He is a cornerstone in the company’s historical journey and sets the bar high when it comes to performance and professionalism in the field.
Jordan Laughlin, Vice President of Safety and Training, started his career with Family Tree Service in 2015 and quickly established his place as a leader among the crews. Jordan is responsible for maintaining the FTS Safety and Training Program. He holds the award for the most certificates: TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional, CTSP2167, TCIA Tree Care Apprentice Certificate, TCIA Crew Leader Certificate, Chainsaw Specialist, Fall Protection Certificate, Aerial Lift Specialist, OSHA 8, 10, 30 Certificates, Electrical Hazard Awareness EHAP, Registered California Flagger, First Aid/CPR, Class A Commercial Driver, and the list goes on and on…
Jereme Lopez, Vice President of Mendocino Inland Region, has been with Family Tree 10 years and was one of the first foremen to help develop FT standards for the Residential Division. Jereme now directs Inland Mendocino Crews and provides leadership for Utility Line Clearance Customer Beta programs to support technological advancements in urban forestry. His dedication to his craft has earned him the respect of his peers and is reciprocated by his crews. Jereme’s commitment to company and industry ANSI Z 133 standards as well as maintaining customer satisfaction is reflected by his exemplary record.
Brandon Wolf, Vice President for Resource Divison, joined Family Tree in 2012 as an apprentice climber. He rose through the ranks and promoted to Top Foreman overseeing many special projects. In 2022, Brandon accepted the leadership responsibility for the Resource Crews working in residential and commercial tree care. Brandon’s knowledge and skills have helped continue FT’s commitment to Exceptional Customer Service and Safe Tree Care Operations covering the Counties of Mendocino, Humboldt, Lake, Sonoma, Napa & Marin. He is the driving force behind Family Tree Service’s residential and commercial client success.
Dwight Raudio, Vice President for the Mendocino Coast Region, started his career in the tree care industry working as a Field Inspector. Dwight has been with Family Tree Service for 12 years and is a licensed Pesticide Applicator. Dwight has earned the respect of his crew and peers who validate his management style and commitment to following company standards. Dwight’s accountability to contract management, customer satisfaction, and maintaining daily training and safety standards set forth by ANSI Z 133 and FTS has confirmed his top-quality status in the company.
